At a very individualistic level of a society, what is constant is that we are all humans with one nature be it about liberty and human need for freedom that justifies human rights plus the need for a functioning community that guides, protects and provide freedom for creative expression.

REASON

The nature of understanding, perception and cognition. Our philosophy is firmly rooted in man’s ability to understand nature and his own mind. We can abstract from culture, history, human nature, which is universal and use our minds to determine what values we should adopt our guiding principles.

CULTURE AND TRADITION

There are metaphysical truths about humans: only an individual can feel, eat, reason. His society cannot reason for him, feel his pain which justifies liberty and human rights. However, humans are social creatures. The human nature cannot adjust and function without other human interaction which justifies norms, creation and the hold of culture.
